- Another Successful Trenchless Water Line Repair
This method of water line installation involves using an existing access point to replace the water line without digging a large trench. The process began with our professional staff entering an existing access point to insert a flexible tube called a pipe-bursting head into the water line. This pipe-bursting head is then used to break apart the existing water line and pull through a new water line. The new water line is usually made of high-density polyethylene, or HDPE, a durable, non-corrosive material that will last for many years.
Once the pipe-bursting head was in place, a new water line was inserted from the access point in front of the house to the basement. This line needed to be connected to the existing water line in the basement, and any necessary fittings were also connected.
